Created with top quality materials, the camera has an image magnification of up to 4X and is optimized for use with Skype, Microsoft Lync, and other video conferencing programs.

Logitech Webcam C930e belongs to the category of flagship webcams, the creation of which engineers basically did not want to save even the smallest detail.

The Logitech C930e packaging is quite simple, and in addition to the webcam itself and a few manuals of the case, there are no surprises, also because its use is very simple: just connect it to the USB port of your PC, whether this is Windows or Mac, and the webcam it will immediately be ready to work with any program you use to record videos.

Shooting is in full HD at 30 frames per second, with a very wide 90 field of view, more than the average webcam installed in laptops nowadays.

A key feature of this model is a unique encoding system, which allows to significantly reduce the load on the channel when streaming video is transmitted, but it does not save on image quality.

Due to the wide viewing angle, autofocus and automatic adjustment of the light level Logitech Webcam C930e is perfect for video conferencing. Forget about how you had to step on each other’s heels – now you can be anywhere in the camera, being firmly sure that you will be in the frame.

Design Of The Logitech C930e

The product has a black plastic frame measuring 101.6 x 27.94 x 27.94 mm and a pleasant oval design in which the central lens stands out. Beyond the shape, the webcam is quite simple: there is a company logo, in dark gray, and not much else.  The USB-C 3.0 cable is detachable, allowing it to be replaced with one of our choices. The cable included in the package measures 1.5 meters and ends on one side with a USB Type-A plug intended for connection with a PC or notebook and on the other with a USB-C connector.   The C930e also has a privacy cover that completely covers the main lens. Logitech has also included in the pack a resealable bag, a welcome detail for those who use the C930e on the go and do not want to carry it around in the bag without any protection.

Audio and video quality The audio and video quality is good, always considering that it is a webcam. It uses the proprietary RealLight 3 technology with HDR (High Dynamic Range) to adapt to any environment and was able to capture good images in different lighting conditions; obviously with the lowering of the ambient light the automatic compensation that the active software creates defects and video noise.  The degraded image is especially noticeable when you put it in full screen, but if you view it in a small window, as usually happens, then you will always be satisfied with the quality.

The two omnidirectional microphones capture a clear and clean sound, with a high volume, which however tends to saturate if the voice is raised too much. Just remember to speak in a normal tone and everything will be fine.

Usage scenarios for 4K Currently, there are not many possibilities to take advantage of the C930e 4K resolution. In fact, there are not many apps or services that stream in that resolution, not to mention that you need to have a 4K monitor to really appreciate the quality of the images, as well as Internet connectivity that allows streaming in 4K. It is possible to change the brightness, contrast, white balance, and color saturation parameters of the C930e through the Logitech Camera Settings app.Moreover, from the same app, it is possible to zoom and narrow the angle of view from the original 90 to 78 or 65. However, the software does not install automatically when connected to the webcam and must be downloaded from the official Logitech website.  The background replacement function uses Personify technology instead and according to Logitech is still in beta, which is why the results are not always reliable. Therefore the function is not integrated into the app. If you want to use it, you need to download an additional driver to work.  The webcam also supports different frame rates, depending on the resolution set: it is possible to record 4K video at 30 FPS, 1080p at 30 or 60 FPS and 720p at 30, 60 or 90 FPS.

Using the Windows Camera app to play videos, the one with 720p and 90 FPS resolution seemed more fluid than the 4K one, although obviously not as detailed. C930e uses an infrared camera to support login via facial recognition with Windows Hello, which has proven to work very well in any ambient lighting situation, in full light as in complete darkness.

Conclusions If you have the right budget and like to always have the latest product, then the Logitech C930e is the webcam for you. Currently, the ability to capture video in 4K has limited utility but HDR support allows for good image quality.

Because of this, it is really very compact and lightweight. For the control, the device is equipped with a 3 “LCD screen of 230,000 points. With this screen, you can focus, follow a moving subject, control the exposure in manual mode. Other settings are made using Canon’s intuitive menu.
In addition to the camcorder, Canon includes a 3-hour battery, AC adapter, Mini HDMI cable and USB interface cable. The camera is also compatible with the CT-V1 Panoramic Tripod.

Even thought, the strong edge of the camera is the video capability, the photo side of the product is also of very good level. Processing and operation
The processing of the GoPro Hero4 Silver is flawless. Everything looks high-quality, stable and solid, as you
would expect from GoPro. That may be expected however with a model for  this price also. The weight with
battery is 82 grams.
In the closed housing without mounting bracket, it brings 147 grams on the scales. The case dimensions
have changed only slightly in comparison to the top model of the predecessor series – the GoPro Hero3 +
Black Edition. Both cameras are therefore compatible with the same housings.
Undoubtedly one of the most significant innovations is the integrated touch display. The small screen has a
diagonal of 1.8 inches. The picture gives a bright and sufficiently sharp impression. Details can, therefore, be
judged accordingly well on the display. Delays in fast movements are visible but do not disturb the good
overall impression.
The camera reacts very precisely to touch commands. A multi-touch function for zooming into a recording is
unfortunately not possible.
Nevertheless, the operation of the camera is speedy from the hand – the settings can be made quickly and
comfortably after a short settling phase. The much more expensive GoPro Hero4 Black does not offer this
comfort but can be retrofitted with an optional display for about 100 euros.

There are several gestures available for the operation. For example, the camera modes are opened with a link
wipe. System settings must be swiped from bottom to top.
This is very convenient. In addition, GoPro now includes the side WLAN button in the operating concept of
the camera. For example, it can be used when entering the Video Options menu.
The camera is next to the final flap, two more. The standard flap allows dives of up to 40 meters, according
to the manufacturer. If the touch flap is mounted, the touch screen can be operated, and still protects the case
from water penetration at depths of up to three meters.

The camera provides a total of nine different resolution modes for video recording. From a
maximum of Ultra HD alias 4K (3.840 x 2.160) to minimal WVGA (848 x 480). During the recording,
highlights can be set by pressing a button, which can then be found immediately with the free software
“GoPro Studio“.
The optional field of view is divided according to the manufacturer in ultra-wide, medium and narrow. The
maximum number of frames per second the camera can afford is in the HD resolution (720p). 120 frames per
second are possible – a very interesting value for slow-motion playback.
With Full HD, there are at least 60 frames per second. Video recordings in Ultra HD (4K) proved to be due
to the highly jerky motion representation, due to the low frame rate, as not practicable. This feature should
be interesting for those who want to take single high-resolution images from the recordings.
However, if you want to use this feature profitably for a video to use, has to pick or choose the much more
expensive GoPro Hero4 Black. Liquid images were possible in our test only up to a resolution of 2.7K (2704
x 1536) at 30 frames per second.
The special low light mode could convince us as with the GoPro Hero3 + Black Edition not completely. The
picture noise makes distracting attention at night shots. For an action camera with such small sensor
recordings are quite useful.
All in all, the video recordings have convinced us as they did on the GoPro Hero3 + Black Edition.
Significant differences in video quality we could not pin down in the comparison of the two models.

Photo fans are happy. The product has gotten some great features, which can otherwise only be
found in digital camera models for ambitious amateur photographers. So you can take night shots with the
device. Up to 30 seconds you can expose your shots. Example shots for different lighting conditions can be

The photo resolution is twelve megapixels. Daylight shots are sharp and quite detailed. In low light
conditions, picture noise cannot be overlooked. For an Actioncam, the recordings can be seen beyond doubt.
The maximum continuous shutter speed is 30 frames per second at full resolution.
However, the period between two shots can be extended to up to three seconds – a useful option, as we find,
because the higher variation in the series also offers a higher probability of a successful recording.
We really liked the time lapse mode / time-lapse mode. This can still be set to a special night mode in which
automatically longer exposure times are selected.

You can activate the so-called protune function for your videos. According to GoPro, you can achieve higher
quality and dynamic of the source material with the postprocessing. Protune creates images with less
compression and uses more neutral colors. The GoPro feature is designed especially for professional users
who want to have a more individual influence on their video material.
But also for photos can be used Protune. Once activated, you can actively influence the white balance, color
balance, ISO limit, focus, and exposure compensation. For ambitious photographers certainly some
interesting options.
Connectivity
The GoPro has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and can be remotely controlled either via a remote control
for about 100 euros or via the GoPro app for iOS and Android via smartphone or tablet PC. The app
provides live preview and playback of saved videos and photos. The connection to the Samsung Galaxy S3
went perfectly and was self-explanatory.
The quality of the connection was stable in the test and stable over several tens of meters. However, with a
delay of just under a second, you have to live. We also liked that information like the remaining battery
capacity on the smartphone were displayed. The settings of the app are very diverse. This allows detailed
settings to be made for each camera mode. Even the remaining SD card volume was displayed.
Battery life
Unfortunately, the first glance at the data left a bit of wonder. Touch display, but a battery with less capacity
than its predecessor. The fact that the GoPro Hero4 Silver would not break any accords was soon clear.
Another pity: the batteries from the previous series are not compatible with those of the current model.
The battery is now replaced at the bottom of the device and is slightly narrower. Anyone planning longer
photo or video sessions should always have spare batteries with them. A separate charger is also
recommended, as this is not included and batteries can only be charged in the camera.
With a video resolution of 2.7K, you can expect only battery life between 60 and 90 minutes. This is at best
an average result. Here, the use of display plays an important role. A power-saving setting should be selected
for the display brightness and the automatic idle state.

It has a user-friendly interface. The T7i is built for beginners and Canon certainly had them in mind with a new user interface that also serves as a guide on how to use the camera. The interface guides users on picking the right exposure modes and settings in order to capture an expected shot. More advanced users can also access a more traditional UI. It produces images with impressive quality. Although the T7i features the same 24MP APS-C CMOS sensor as its predecessor, improvements in other areas has made differences between models clear. Noise handling is much better in the T7i even when the ISO is set rather high. And despite some noise creeping through at really high rates, the image quality still remains good.

Cons
It does not support 4K video. A number of Canon’s rivals already support 4K video so it would have been nice for them to offer the same feature on an entry-level camera. It features a plastic body. While the camera build is really good, the plastic body makes it feel cheap

Opinion after use
The compact dimensions of the original EOS 100D made it a truly new standout camera among its competitors, but the somewhat more cumbersome dimensions of the EOS 200D make it look more like a slightly trimmed 800D than anything unique. So, what else makes the 200D an interesting product if it cannot boast of compact size like its predecessor? In fact, not so much.
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF system in Live View works perfectly, and the new, improved touchscreen pivoting screen makes it simpler and more convenient to use. It is also worth noting the new very convenient and intuitive user interface, which will be especially useful for beginners. I would like to see more AF points located in the viewfinder, but in terms of autofocus performance, the 200D is very good in most cases. Do I have any other complaints about the 200D?
The plastic finish and the lack of shooting in 4K are disappointing, but perhaps the main obstacle to buying, which the EOS 200D has, is its price relative to its competitors.

For customers to purchase a product from a family of cameras, the newer unit should definitely show enhancements over its predecessor. This is gladly the case with the Canon EOS Rebel T7i which comes with a better sensor and a new image processor.

Along with the new sensor is a new DIGIC 7 image processor. Then again, the camera giant may have thought that this area didn’t need that much improvement given it’s one of the best touch displays available.
One of the biggest disappointments from Canon for the T7i is not allowing it to support 4K video. The availability of 4K is becoming standard for a lot of Canon’s rivals but apparently, the company thought that making the camera support just Full HD would be fine.
To be fair, videos shot in Full HD with a camera brand as good as Canon will still turn out great but 4K support would have made the T7i geared for the future. Canon has equipped the T7i with 5-axis image stabilization to minimize or eliminate blue when videos are shot handheld. Yes, the system only works on video footage and not stills. The system will also work with
lenses that support IS.
Like the T6i, the T7i also supports WiFi and NFC connectivity but adds Bluetooth connectivity for a much
easier transfer of images from the camera to smart devices.
The Camera Connect app also lets smart devices control the camera remotely and browse photos.

The EOS Rebel T7i built in WiFi main goal, even though not the only one, is to connect a camera with a smartphone or a tablet that use an iOS or Android device through the Camera Connect app from Canon that is available to use free of charge (needs to be installed for the proper communication of the devices).These features allow that for example the camera can be remote controlled from a tablet, a smartphone or even from a PC, which only requires that the EOS Utility software from Canon be set up to be functional.
